    If FRJ does end up as odd man out, I’ll really hate for him. I thought he got the short end of the stick with the hiring of MM. But just because he’s a nice guy doesn’t entitle him to a job. Results are what matter. And there’s no question MM/Ragan-Regan-Reagan (whichever one is the co-driver) has gotten more out of the 01 this year than FRJ has in the past (and with his current 13). As for Sterling, I was there for both his first late model race in Nashville in the mid 70s and his first Cup qualifying run at Nashville. Have been a fan from day 1. I’d really like to see him go out on his own terms vs. those dictated by 4 team mergers. But this is a tough biz, so we’ll see…
